Hi there! We’re a local family who turned our dream into reality by creating Host By Owner. It all started with a big decision: we wanted to live full-time in beautiful Ocean City, Maryland, and keep our daughter enrolled in the amazing Worcester County School District. That meant finding a way to plant our roots here—and we couldn’t think of a better way than helping other families create unforgettable memories through vacation rentals.
We started by hosting just one property and quickly fell in love with the process. From prepping cozy spaces to welcoming guests from all over, it became more than a business—it became a passion. We love watching families arrive excited, leave with stories, and come back year after year.
